The Gainesville Police Department is investigating after shots were fired at a restaurant in northeast Gainesville Friday morning.
Officers say an altercation led to shots being fired at David’s BBQ on Northeast 23rd Avenue.
Fleeing vehicles crashed. One person remained on the scene when the officers arrived.
Two others who initially left the scene later went to the Gainesville Police Department Headquarters to file a report.
Detectives say they are working to piece together the facts of the case.
