A woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by a Brightline train Friday morning in Oakland Park, authorities said.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Commercial Boulevard and North Dixie Highway, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said first responders transported the individual to Broward Health North. The condition or age of the woman was not immediately release
Sky 10 flew over the scene shortly before 11 a.m. showing the train on standby, with multiple BSO units nearby.
Deputies were seen speaking with the train operator, while a white car with its doors open was surrounded by yellow crime scene tape.
