14-year-old injured in Brevard County shooting, deputies say

A 14-year-old was injured in a shooting in the Mims area on Saturday evening, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the shooting happened in the 3000 block of Carver Street.

According to the sheriff’s office, the victim is stable and their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

Deputies said a suspect had been located, yet later added no arrests had been made in connection to the shooting at the time of this report.
