A 17-year-old Navarre boy was seriously injured after his electric scooter collided with a pickup truck on Saturday in Santa Rosa County.
Troopers say the incident occurred at the intersection of Frankfort Street and Hemlock Drive around 1:30 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the teenager failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to the collision with the right side of a pickup truck driven by a 43-year-old Navarre man.
The teenager was airlifted to Sacred Heart Pensacola with serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
