Traffic was backed up on the MacArthur Causeway Sunday afternoon due to a crash.
All eastbound lanes of the causeway were closed at Watson Island as a result.
Miami Beach police warned drivers to seek alternate routes.
Authorities have not provided any information on what led up to the crash, how many vehicles were involved or how many people were injured.
Alternate routes would be the Julia Tuttle Causeway or 79th Street Causeway.
