Police: Man injured in shooting after argument at Pembroke Gardens shopping plaza

Police are investigating a shooting that they say left a man injured Saturday at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens.

According to authorities, a man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after an altercation escalated into gunfire in the busy shopping plaza, located at 527 SW 145th Terrace.

Pembroke Pines police said preliminary details suggest the shooting stemmed from an argument between the suspect and the victim.

They said the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

Authorities confirmed the investigation is ongoing, but have not released additional details about the man’s identity or the nature of the argument.
