A woman was killed in a car crash in Umatilla on County Road 450, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers.
The woman was heading north when her vehicle went off the road, passed County Road 42, and hit a warning sign.
The front of the car then hit a tree.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Ocala and died shortly after arrival.
