Police identify suspect in Nashville hit and run that injured Escambia County man

Nashville Police have identified the suspect wanted for a hit and run that hospitalized an Escambia County man.

Police are looking for 32-year-old T L-I who’s accused of hitting ZC on May 18.

L-I is in the U.S. illegally. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says he has multiple outstanding warrants.

C was celebrating his 21st birthday in Nashville with his family when a Mitsubishi Mirage hit him as he was using a crosswalk.

Surveillance video shows C looking both ways before using the crosswalk. That’s when the Mitsubishi rams into him and speeds off.

C survived the crash. A GoFundMe has been created to help Z in his recovery.
