Man hit by train in Tampa, police investigating

The Tampa Police Department said it is conducting a death investigation after a man was struck by a train late Saturday night

Officers responded to the 300 block of W Busch Blvd., where they found a deceased person stuck under a train. TPD said that it appeared to be an adult male.

The man was struck by a CSX train that was traveling west from N Florida Ave., police said.

The intersection was closed for a few hours while authorities investigated, but all roads are reopened as of 3 a.m. Sunday.
