Multiple dogs dead after shed fire in Altamonte Springs

Multiple dogs dead after shed fire in Altamonte Springs

The Seminole County Fire Department is investigating after multiple dogs were found dead following a shed fire.

Fire officials say they received multiple calls just before 3 a.m. Sunday of a fire at a home located at 1001 Broadway Street in Altamonte Springs.

When crews arrived, they found two sheds on fire between two houses.

SCFD says one of the sheds contained multiple dogs.

They say all nine of the dogs in the shed died.

The state fire marshal investigator determined the fire was accidental and caused by an electrical issue.

Officials say there is no confirmation for any civilian injuries and no firefighters were injured.
