A shots-fired call led police to an overturned vehicle Tuesday morning, the Tampa Police Department announced.
TPD responded to the area of North 28th Street and East 25th Avenue around 3:15 a.m. in regard to a shots-fired call.
When officers arrived, they did not find anyone who had been shot, but they did find a vehicle that was overturned in the area.
The driver, unrelated to the shooting, heard the gunshots and attempted to flee the scene, TPD said.
A short time later, a person showed up at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers are unsure if the two are related because they are not being cooperative, TPD said.
