Man stabbed with machete, driven to hospital by his attacker

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputy was stopped at an intersection by a female claiming her brother had been battered by a man with a machete, who was now taking him to the hospital.

A R, 35, got into a verbal altercation with the victim around the area of a Circle K in Kissimmee on June 9 before stabbing him with a machete.

At approximately 5:13 p.m., the deputy was stopped by the woman claiming her brother was injured by the same man taking him to the hospital for his injuries.

Deputies went to the hospital and learned that the incident began over a verbal argument at the Circle K between R-A and the victim.

Inside R-A’s truck, deputies found blood from the victim. In the bed of the truck, they found the machete that was used in the incident.

R-A was promptly arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

If you know any information about this incident, please contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at the non-emergency line: (407) 348-2222 or call Crimeline.
