Fort Myers man accused of throwing boiling water and attempting to stab victim


A Fort Myers man was arrested after being accused of throwing boiling water on another person and attempting to stab them with a knife at an apartment complex along Thomas Street in Fort Myers Tuesday night.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, ES, 55, was arrested Wednesday morning and faces an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge.

FMPD said officers found the victim, who said they were physically attacked in the home at Thomas Street Apartments. The victim was able to escape and call for help. They were transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center for treatment.
