Firefighters extinguish house fire in northeast Ocala

Firefighters in Marion County battled a house fire in Ocala on Wednesday morning.

Marion County Fire Rescue crews say multiple people called 911 to report that a house on Northeast 19th Avenue was on fire.

Crews from both Marion County and Ocala fire rescues worked together to bring the fire under control.

All occupants were able to get out of the home safely, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters say the cause and origin of the fire are currently under investigation.
