Three people were hurt in a mobile home fire early Saturday near Geneva, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.
Calls started coming in around 6:12 a.m. about a mobile home on fire with two people inside, the fire department said in a statement. Firefighters arriving to the area of Racoon Trail reported everyone was already out of the home, four people in total.
Two of the people were hospitalized as “trauma alerts with significant burns” — with one flown to Orlando and the other transported via ground — while a third person who was given advanced life support and was also hospitalized was described as stable, the statement reads. The fourth person was not injured and refused medical transport, firefighters said.
On social media, the fire department said one of the home’s occupants had taken two others out of the structure while a fourth had left through a window.
A defensive attack was made on the fire, which was put out and overhauled with help from the Oviedo Fire Department and Sanford Fire, according to the statement.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the state fire marshal.
Family members have set up a GoFundMe which can be found here.
