Crews clear Waldo Road after semi-truck spills rocks

Lanes reopened on a major roadway in Alachua County after a semi-truck wrecked on Tuesday morning.

Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say a semi overturned, spilling rocks on both north and southbound lanes of Northeast Waldo Road near 61st Court.

The wreck caused significant delays as crews worked to clear the debris. Deputies urged drivers to find another route.
