The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 55-year-old FA over a serious case involving a 17-year-old girl with mental disabilities.
According to the arrest report, the incident happened in the early hours of June 16, 2025. The girl’s mother walked into her living room and found A on a mattress with her daughter. She immediately called authorities after seeing A with his shorts down and her daughter in a vulnerable state.
The victim, who has agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC) and Smith-Magenis syndrome, has limited mental capacity and struggles to communicate like most teenagers. Investigators reported disturbing allegations, including acts of penetration.
A allegedly told the sheriff’s office that the victim came onto him first but reportedly acknowledged the victim’s diminished capacity.
It is unclear how the suspect is related to the victim.
A is being charged with unlawful sexual battery, with allegations of multiple acts of penetration without consent.
