Dog saved from house fire in Golden Gate

A fire sparked at a home along 44th Street Southwest in Golden Gate on Wednesday.

According to the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District, the homeowners were not home at the time, but firefighters found their dog named Harley inside.

Officials said Harley was rescued from the home and reunited with a neighbor as crews quickly contained and extinguished the fire.

Greater Naples Fire said the cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation at this time.
