Southbound traffic on I-275 was at a standstill Friday morning after a crash with injuries on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge caused first responders to close all but one lane of traffic.
The crash was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m. Friday on the southern end of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
All but one southbound lane was closed as first responders worked to assess the crash. Two ambulances were seen on scene from FDOT traffic cameras. At this time, it’s unknown how many were injured, or the extent of their injuries.
Traffic lanes are starting to reopen but avoid the area for now.
