Motorcyclist dies after Pensacola Beach crash, driver charged

A 28-year-old Texas male motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Pensacola Beach Saturday morning.

Troopers say the incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Via De Luna Drive near Avenida 19.

According to FHP, a motorcycle was rear-ended by an SUV driven by 62-year-old Ann Passman Killough of Pensacola.

Troopers say the motorcycle was dragged by the SUV for almost one block before Killough came to a stop.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Killough is being held in Escambia County Jail on charges of negligent homicide with no bond.
