A Florida man with an extensive criminal history has been accused of stabbing a victim with a box cutter at a RaceTrac gas station in Bonita Springs.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said that on Tuesday, deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at the gas station located on Bonita Beach Road.
According to the report, the victim was inside picking up some food when he was confronted by JD.
LCSO said that D,26, began to punch, grab, and stab the victim with a box cutter.
D then fled from the RaceTrac but didn’t make it far as LCSO reported capturing him just a few minutes later on Furlong Street.
D has now been accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
