Police: 3 shot inside Fort Lauderdale parking garage

Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

According to Detective Ali Adamson, officers responded to the shooting around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at a parking garage in the 200 block of Las Olas Circle.

She said a group of people were gathered on the top floor of the parking garage when multiple people approached them and started shooting.

Three adults were shot and were transported by private vehicle to Broward Health Medical Center, Adamson confirmed.

She said the investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made.

According to Adamson, the shooting appears to be unrelated to the Florida Panthers parade, which was held along Fort Lauderdale Beach later in the morning.

Anyone with information about the triple shooting is asked to call the Fort Lauderdale Police Department or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
