A crash involving hazardous materials and injuries on the southbound Turnpike in Boynton Beach is blocking traffic on Thursday morning.

Florida 511 reported a crash at 9:36 a.m. just before Mile Marker 89, after the Boynton Beach Boulevard interchange.

In the latest update at 10:48 a.m., officials said that the right lane has been blocked and traffic has been backed up for approximately three miles.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that the crash involves injuries.
