Cars crash in front of Spring Hill restaurant’s outdoor dining section

Two cars crashed in front of a Spring Hill restaurant’s outdoor dining section on Thursday afternoon.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened in front of Cody’s Roadhouse.

The vehicles hit the outdoor covered section of the restaurant; however, no damage was done to the main structure of the building and no one was hurt, deputies said.

The Hernando County Fire Rescue was called to the restaurant to make sure the area is safe. A building inspector will also assess the restaurant.

The restaurant remained open for business.
