A man in Gainesville was arrested Thursday after officers say he tried to kill someone on Monday.
Gainesville police officers arrested DWS. after he hit someone in the head with a concrete block on Southeast 14th Street.
According to law enforcement, the incident was part of an ongoing feud between W’s friends and the victim.
Law enforcement said W also broke the windows of the victim’s car, with damages estimated at around $2,000.
The victim was hit multiple times by W. Witnesses say he was drinking during the day but was not acting like himself.
W was arrested on charges of attempted murder and criminal mischief.
