First responder attacked by dog during routine medical call at Pensacola Home Stay Lodge

A first responder was attacked by a dog while working a routine medical call at a Pensacola motel early Monday morning.

When EMS arrived to the Home Stay Lodge on North Davis Highway around 4 a.m. they were met with dogs, according to Escambia County Fire Rescue.

Fire Rescue says one EMT was bitten by a dog. They were transported to a hospital to treat their injuries. That person was then released.

No further information is available.
