At least one person was injured Wednesday morning in a police shooting in Wilton Manors.
According to Wilton Manors police, the shooting occurred in the area of Northeast 26th Street and North Andrews Avenue.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials confirmed that first responders transported one person who had been shot to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma patient.
Wilton Manors police said they will be working with the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in the investigation.
No other details were immediately released.
