A man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon near Clewiston, and a suspect is still on the loose.
According to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of gunfire shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the area of 944 Kentucky Ave.
That’s where they found the victim, ADS, 27, with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Hendry Regional Hospital, where he later died.
The HCSO stated that they have identified a suspect and are actively searching for him, and believe the incident was isolated.
