14-year-old shot in drive-by near Glover Street in Eustis, police say

A 14-year-old was shot Sunday night in a drive-by shooting in Eustis, police said.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. in front of a home near Glover Street.

Eustis police said someone got out of a car, fired multiple rounds and left the area.

The teen, who was outside, was struck in the leg and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No arrests have been made, but police said there’s no threat to the community at large.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a rivalry between two groups but did not elaborate further.

The department will put more resources behind solving the shooting because they are not receiving much cooperation, officials said.

No other details have been released.
