Motorcyclist dies after missing curve, hitting median in Orange Park crash: Florida Highway Patrol

A 61-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday night in a crash on Wells Road west of Eldridge Avenue in Orange Park, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the man, who was wearing a helmet, was headed east on Wells Road when he missed a right curve and hit a raised curb in the median.

The motorcyclist lost control, and the bike flipped, troopers said, throwing the man off the motorcycle.

He died from his injuries.
