Man found dead after shooting outside northwest Miami-Dade flea market

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting after a man was found shot inside a car in northwest Miami-Dade.

It happened at The Village Flea Market located near the intersection of Northwest 79th Street and 27th Avenue just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a man in a gray car who had been shot.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

The sheriff’s office had a large portion of the parking lot blocked off, which affected some businesses in the area.

Detectives and a forensics team were observed going over the scene, collecting evidence.

Witnesses say the shooter stayed near the scene and deputies would eventually take him into custody.

Detectives are trying to figure out what led up to this shooting and what charges the shooter may face.

The names of the victim and the suspect have yet to be released.
