A fire in northwest Miami-Dade’s unincorporated Gladeview area sent one person to a local hospital Monday morning.
The fire broke out at around 10 a.m. at a “vacant” building at Northwest 66th Street and 24th Court, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
An MDFR spokesperson said crews got the blaze under control a little less than an hour later.
Officials have not provided additional details about the victim’s condition or said what he or she was doing in the building at the time.
