A Holiday woman was arrested on Sunday after Pasco deputies said she was captured on video throwing a water bottle at a 16-year-old drive-thru worker because she was tired of waiting.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said 28-year-old B Z had been waiting in the Charley’s Cheesesteaks and Wings drive-thru on US Highway 19 in Holiday for 10 minutes when she started to yell and curse at a 16-year-old worker.
According to an arrest affidavit, Z “grew tired of waiting” and sped to the last drive-thru window to confront the teen.
While Z was yelling and cursing at the worker, the arrest report said she grabbed a water bottle that was in her car and “maliciously threw it at the victim.”
Deputies said the teen was struck on the left side of his face after he tried to block the bottle.
After throwing the bottle, deputies said Z left the restaurant.
The sheriff’s office said the incident was captured on the drive-thru surveillance footage.
Z was arrested and charged with child abuse.
