A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Orange County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the fatal crash happened around 5:12 p.m. on Orange Avenue and Mary Louise Lane.
According to a crash report, a Yamaha FJ-09 motorcycle was traveling south on Orange Avenue, north of Mark Louise Lane when the driver failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and traveled in a southwest direction onto the shoulder.
As a result, the vehicle struck a guardrail which caused the motorcyclist to fall from the vehicle.
The driver, identified as a 30-year-old Kissimmee man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under invstigation.
