An Orlando man driving an SUV died early Wednesday after he sideswiped a box truck and hit the back of a semitruck on Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. near Consulate Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old man was traveling south in a Mazda CX-5 when he lost control and sideswiped a box truck next to him.
The Mazda then collided with the back of a semitruck that was turning onto northbound OBT, a crash report said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Footage from the scene showed a FedEx semi-truck.
The other two drivers were uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing.
