FHP: 44-year-old passenger in Okaloosa County vehicle crash seriously injured

Two Crestview women were injured after a vehicle crash in Okaloosa County on Wednesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 9 a.m. on State Road 293 and Commons Boulevard.

A 25-year-old and her 44-year-old passenger were traveling on State Road 293 in a sports utility vehicle.

The driver turned into the path of a pickup truck when approaching the intersection of Commons Boulevard in the inside lane. This resulted in a crash.

The driver of the pickup truck had no injuries. The 25-year-old’s injuries were minor. However, her passenger had serious injuries. She was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
