A crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle occurred on Tamiami Trail and Sterling Oaks Boulevard in Collier County, prompting a trauma alert and road closures. 

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident, which happened around 6:12 a.m. Friday.

A helicopter was dispatched to transport the injured individual, and the Florida Highway Patrol said there was a trauma alert.

FHP confirmed that two inside southbound lanes on Tamiami Trail remain blocked.
