US-41 crash in Fort Myers closes all lanes from Edison Ave to Victoria Ave for more than 12 hours


A three-vehicle crash happened Sunday evening on US-41 in Fort Myers, and all lanes were closed on US-41 from Edison Avenue to Victoria Avenue for more than 12 hours.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the crash involved three vehicles and there are serious injuries. Police say two people have serious injuries. One of the vehicles rolled over.

FMPD also said the vehicles were traveling northbound at high speeds before the crash.

All lanes have reopen.

This is an active investigation, according to FMPD.
