Dirt bike rider airlifted to hospital after crashing into fence in Palm Beach County

A person was airlifted to the hospital after crashing their electric dirt bike through a fence on Monday.

According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR), crews were dispatched to the 68th North Street and Avocado Boulevard in the Acreage community. Units were at the scene in under four minutes.

PCBFR says the driver of the dirt bike met trauma alert criteria and was flown to a nearby hospital.

At this time, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
