Man shot, killed in Marion County, deputies say

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot and killed on Wednesday morning.

Deputies said they responded to the 17800 block of SE 21st Court in relation to a shooting.

Upon arriving, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead on the scene.

Details about what led to the shooting and about a possible suspect are under investigation.

Major crimes detectives will continue to investigate the deadly shooting.
