Two Belle Glade women and man have been arrested and charged with aggravated battery and battery after allegedly participating in a violent domestic incident involving a pregnant victim, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the incident involved multiple family members and escalated into physical violence against KH, who is approximately eight weeks pregnant by one of the suspects, HB.
According to the probable cause affidavit, deputies responded to the scene at an apartment on Prewitt Avenue around 7 p.m. after Hinds reported being attacked by HB, who is her boyfriend, HB’s wife, DB and JB who is the daughter of HB.
The altercation began when H’s boyfriend, HB, allegedly confronted her over a video he believed showed him engaged in a sexual act with another man. H told deputies that B entered her home, physically assaulted her, and was soon joined by his wife and daughter, who also attacked her.
Witness statements and the victim’s account led deputies to arrest all three suspects.
All three individuals were arrested and face aggravated battery and battery charges.
