Two vehicles shot at each other in a “road rage” incident near Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff on Saturday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said around 3 p.m., officers went to the area of Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff in reference to two vehicles shooting at each other.
When they arrived, they found one of the cars disabled on the curb. The driver, a man in his 20s, was shot and taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the other car, a dark grey sedan, fled the scene and has not been located.
JSO said it appears to be “an incident of road rage between two vehicles.”
