One person was injured after a road rage incident led to a shooting on I-75 Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the incident unfolded on I-75 southbound, north of Clark Road. There were two vehicles involved: a white Jeep SUV and a black Dodge Ram pickup.
The driver of the Jeep SUV is believed to have fired at least one shot at the driver’s side window of the Dodge Ram.
According to authorities, the driver and passenger side windows of the Dodge were shattered.
The driver of the Dodge sustained a minor injury and was treated by EMS at the scene, officials said.
Troopers said the driver of the Jeep fled onto Clark Road after the incident.
Authorities were still investigating Friday evening, and no further information was immediately available.
