A Gainesville woman is being charged with child abuse after hitting a toddler multiple times.
JS, 26, is being charged with child abuse after an anonymous video was shared with the Gainesville Police Department.
In the video, the victim was shown crying while getting her hair done by S.
The toddler was then smacked five times in the back of the head and face and then thrown off the couch they were sitting on.
S states that she did smack the baby because she was angry but tried to push the her onto the couch.
Her intention was not to hit the floor.
