A 68-year-old motorcyclist died in a head-on crash on County Road 352 near Monongahela Avenue in Clay County on Friday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Officials said at approximately 7:16 p.m., an 18-year-old Keystone Heights man was driving an SUV when he crossed the solid double yellow lines while negotiating a curve.
FHP said the SUV drove directly into the path of the southbound motorcycle, causing a head-on collision.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
The SUV driver and passenger suffered minor injuries.
FHP said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
