A 55-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Escambia County.
Troopers say the incident occurred around 5:28 a.m. on Fairfield Drive, west of South Dakota Street, when a sedan traveling westbound collided with the pedestrian, who was reportedly within the roadway.
The driver of the sedan, a 23-year-old Pensacola women, was not injured in the collision.
According to the driver, two other vehicles may have also struck the pedestrian and subsequently left the scene.
