The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an accident in Marion County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol troopers, a 22-year-old woman from Dunnellon was traveling westbound on Southwest 140th Street approaching the intersection of State Road 200.
The accident happened around 8:43 a.m.
The woman failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Citrus Springs, was taken to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
