Deadly rollover crash on I-95 North closes all lanes in Fort Pierce, traffic diverted

A deadly rollover crash on I-95 North at the Indrio Road exit in Fort Pierce has shut down all Northbound lanes.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), the crash happened on Monday around 2:30 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) confirmed at least one death as a result of the crash.

Traffic cameras captured a vehicle flipped upside down in the median as fire crews and law enforcement worked to clear the scene.

Deputies are advising motorists to seek alternate routes and expect delays. Traffic is currently being diverted at the Orange Avenue exit.

The identities of the driver and occupants of the flipped vehicle are unknown at this time.
