Firefighters and deputies in Monroe County responded to a boat fire outside a residence on Camino Real Street in Marathon early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said rescue crews arrived at the scene just before 2 a.m. to find a 20-foot boat fully engulfed in flames.
They said the fire spread to a small section of the front of the home.
Authorities confirmed that no one was inside the home when it erupted and no injuries have been reported at this time.
Investigators have not yet determined what caused the fire.
