A major car crash left five people injured in Lee County on Sunday night.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of a major crash at the intersection of Michael G Rippe Parkway and U.S. 41 at around 8:40 p.m.
LCSO said that the crash involved two vehicles and that three people were transported to the hospital.
Three adults and two children were injured. Two adults were listed as trauma alerts.
